The largest Central American Republic, Nicaragua, is not quite as big as Florida; and the smallest, El Salvador, is about the size of New Hampshire. All five Central American nations have a common laguage, Spanish. And yet, broadcasting stations in Central America direct their programs almost exclusively to their own national audiences.
